Abstract
In this note, we have proposed a systematic approach for the hybrid system controller designs. We integrate discrete event system (DES) and continuous variable dynamic system (CVDS) theories, while taking both sizes of operation logics as well as the system performance into account, to propose a novel approach for the hybrid system controller design. In order to verify the performance of the proposed controllers, we perform a number of computer simulations of a real-world HVAC hybrid system.
