Research on XML-based network lighting device description approach

To solve the practical problems that in network lighting control system the description of product data is not unified and the product information are hard to be shared, in this paper we propose a description format of product data based on XML which utilizes the virtues of XML including strong extensibility, accuracy in description and platform. A new description approach for network lighting device based on XML is introduced. The description format of network lighting device is proposed as well. An example of 16 channels moving light is shown at the end of the paper to demonstrate our idea.
