Abstract :
In order to study how to reduce the creep of prestressed concrete beams, in this paper, four 1:6 scaled specimens was produced relay on the actual project, and different prestressing program was designed. The new way of the early and the second prestress was compared with traditional way to effect on concrete creep of beams, focus of the study in the creep damage under the action of the tendon, beam deflection, beam cross-section of concrete strain, beam curvature effects, etc, and accordance with creep experimental data and theoretical analysis methods, the applicable calculation formula was proposed. In the end of this paper, it has been proved again that the construction method of the twice tension can significantly reduce the creep of prestressed concrete beams.
