            Abstract : 
The differences of analysis methods between two kinds of reconfigurable antenna, the small switch number reconfigurable antenna (SSN-RA) and the large switch number reconfigurable antenna (LSN-RA), are discussed first. From the present general research methods on LSNRA, adopting the statistical method to determinate distribution characteristic of LSN-RA radiation pattern is illuminated then. The method can extend to quantify other performance parameters of antenna, at last the design of experiments methodology is introduced to estimates the effects of switch failure of LSN-RA.
