Abstract
Effect of nutrient concentration of overlying water on nitrogen and phosphor release from sediment in Lake Baiyangdian was studied in this paper. The results indicated that nutrient levels of overlying water impacted the release rate significantly. The average release rates were negatively correlated to the nutrient levels of overlying water. The release curves of absolute amount for total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphor (TP) were fitted by Origin software. S curve were met the release process. The models of nutrient release rate were also proposed. The results showed exponential kinetics model were accepted.
