Abstract :
An identity authentication method based on the non-perfect secret sharing scheme using MIX-SPLIT algorithm is proposed in this paper. In this method, the face image of a user is employed to get his biometric hashing code. Every user is given a permutation key which is used to produce random permutation. The sharing secrets are gained by MIX-SPLIT algorithm and they are as secure as the one time key. A group of authorized users can access the confidential files by combining their sharing secrets. The experimental results show that the proposed method is effective and practical.
