  • Abstract
    With the widespread availability of multimedia sensors, increased computational power and bandwidth, a new paradigm is emerging-converting real world events into multimedia experiences. We have developed a system called LucentVision based on this paradigm and have used the system to capture and broadcast more than 200 international tennis matches on worldwide television and the Internet. We give an overview of LucentVision and present the new multimedia experiences it makes possible
