Abstract :
A novel high frequency multistage power conversion system is investigated to harness clean energy from distributed resources. The proposed power conversion system controls the output voltage irrespective of variations in the source voltage frequency. A multi-loop control scheme is proposed for the multistage AC-AC conversion system in order to provide a regulated power supply despite source voltage disturbances. A detailed mathematical model of the proposed power conversion system is provided. Through a series of simulation results, the superior performance of the proposed high frequency power conversion system is verified.
