Abstract :
In frequency domain, phased array antennas are well established. Phased array radiation was first developed at the turn of last century. It consists of varying the phase of antenna elements so that the resultant radiation can be directed in a desired direction. Quite often the phase shifting can be done electronically at low powers. Phase is a frequency domain concept and its time domain counterpart is “time delay”. In this paper, we consider an application of hyperband high-power antenna arrays, in which there is a need to focus and steer the electromagnetic pulse in the far field of the array.
