  • Abstract
    Effective links between industry and academia are of greatest importance if real-world industrial practices are to be communicated to students. The challenges that exist with regard to ensuring that Software Engineering curricula address important industry-related aspect are addressed. A literature survey is presented and details are given of an ongoing project concerned with industry/academic links. Findings are presented and finally suggestions are made with regard to areas that need urgent attention.
