Abstract :
We consider the problem of power management for mobile terminals in wireless communication networks, focusing on buffered, delay-constrained data transmission at a single node subject to substantial time-varying interference. Numerical methods are used to obtain various performance measures and suggest low-power optimal transmission policies such that transmission is attempted only when interference is below a threshold
