  • Abstract
Solving the problem of traffic safety of the travel road in forest area is of great importance. It can save quantities of lives. The environment on the roadside is the distinct characteristic of travel road in forest area. Firstly analyses the relationship of the environment and traffic safety, then analyses the perception of the driver. The model is established for evaluating the safety of environment on the roadside based by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy theory. At last, it gives a through study on an example of the S203 road of inner Mongolia. The result validates the method is in availability. It is new way for studying the characteristic of environment on the roadside of travel road in forest area.
