Abstract :
This paper describes the design of single rectangular microstrip patch antenna RMPA operating at resonance frequency 2.15 GHz for TM01, TM02, and TM03 modes. The radiation pattern for these three modes has been calculated. The radiation pattern and the input impedance as a function of the feed point for TM01 mode of the published work have been calculated using cavity model with the aid of Mat Lab. program. The effect of dielectric constant and aspect ratio on the pattern of TM03 mode has been studied. The input impedance for TM03 modes at different feed position has been investigated theoretically by using cavity model and Microwave Office Package MOP. The current distribution on the conductive patch for all modes has been evaluated using the package
