Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to study the quality of service in a multiservice network that is operated in a distributed manner. The way of guaranteeing the existence of a decentralized price equilibrium under uncertain link gain coefficients is based on applying A. Prekopa´s (1973) theorem on logconcave distributions. Parameterized concavity of the distribution of the uncertain link gain coefficients is a sufficient condition for the existence of a decentralized solution. The paper discusses a linear congestion pricing scheme for the optimal distributed control of a multi-service network. The framework of analysis is the uplink in a wireless multimedia network
