  • Abstract
As a typical example of Intensive Field, the nitrogen cycling of agro-ecolsystem was studied with DNDC (DeNitrufication-DeComposition) model in Miaoxing village, Cenghe town of Jingzhou city, in the Sihu Lake Drainage Basin. The results indicated that the input of nitrogen in the soil was 511.69 kg·hm-2. the output of nitrogen in the soil was 508.05 kg ·hm-2, and the soil nitrogen pool was in surplus situation in 2009. Duing to the quantity of fertilizer was large, there was a potential environmental impact on surface water and groundwater when the dissoluble nitrogen entered into water through runoff and irrigation in this area.
