Abstract
This paper presents a new Fractional Differential (FD) based image deblurring approach combining with Total Variation (TV) constraint. Although TV based image deblurring methods are effective in restoring image, they tend to over smooth the image details. As FD is very effective for image edge detection and image texture enhancement, we adopt it as an additional regularization term to overcome the drawback of the classic TV methods. Simulation results show that the restored images by our method have better peak signal-to-noise ratio and psycho-visual performances than many other popular deblurring methods.
