Abstract :
This paper describes the structure and features of the industrial communication networks developed on a Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS). First, it is aimed to create a portable design of FMS and then, to develop different experiments on communication networks. This constitutes nowadays an essential research field considering the lack of a unique standard of industrial communications.
