Abstract :
This paper deals with the identification of the mechanical part of a drive. The applied method works in the frequency domain, uses a numerical least squares parameter fitting optimization method and yields the model function of the plant. The paper explains the mathematical background and analyzes the strong influence of the spectral characteristics of the excitation signal on the identification result. The presented experimental results clearly point out the efficiency of the proposed method.
