Application of Blackboard system in the course of computer programming

This article describes the objectives of computer programming and the characteristics of the students in Business College of Beijing Union University (BCBUU). By using of Blackboard system in the process of computing programming, several aspects of the system was analyzed, such as publishing information and course materials, monitoring the situation of students and constructing online communication platform. After the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages, a view was put forward. The Blackboard system is one of the application of modern information technology in teaching. It should be studied deeply and made full use of, so as to playing the most important assistant role in teaching and learning, carrying out teaching activities smoothly, and ensuring the continuous improvement of teaching quality.
