Abstract
As China´s software outsourcing industry grows at a brisk pace, the shortage of software professionals to handle outsourced jobs from Japan has become a bottleneck to the industry. This paper analyzes the multi-level need for such professionals and the status quo of the talent cultivation in China. The paper also reviews the successful experience of Hangzhou Institute of Service Engineering; it addresses the problem of how institutes of high learning should nurture these professionals and proposes practical and innovative methods for talents cultivating.
