Abstract
Reconstruction from partial k-space data is quite common nowadays in the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). However, it would result in image artifacts. Total variation (TV) based strategies were recently applied in many different MRI applications. The assumption of TV is that images are composed of piecewise constant, while generally it is not fit for some practical situations. In this paper, total generalized variation (TGV) was introduced tothereconstruction of MRI data collected on radially oriented sinusoidalexcursions (ROSE) in k-space to improve image quality in this case. And we draw a comparison based on experiments between TGV and TV in different situations.
