Abstract :
Adsorption mechanism of attapulgite to TCE and its effect factors was prepared by adsorption kinetics experiments, isotherm equilibrium adsorption experiments and experiments of environmental effect factors. Its performance of adsorption showed that, compared with the original attapulgite, the removal of organattapulgites to TCE was significantly improved and grew up with the amount of organic carbon. Further, its main removal mechanism was partition of attapulgite´s organic phase to TCE and the anion-cation organattapulgites, 100S/100 H, was best with the most removal efficiency . Under such conditions, namely TCE initial concentration of 100mg.L-1, controlling the temperature of 30°C, 2h of adsorption time, the anion-cation organattapulgites, 100S/100H had the best removal of TCE,which remained stably at about 62%.
