Abstract :
Wave loads should be considered as the most important one within a structural design, the correct calculation of which is the prerequisites of structural design of the ship and reasonable assessment of the ship intensity. For drilling ships, there are significant influence of the wave loads when the load cases different. This paper mainly calculated the wave loads on the different load cases by using the same software. The results shows that the trends of loads distribution on the operating case is different compared with that of the conventional ships, it provides important reference for the structural design of the drilling barge.
