Abstract
The paper presents a study of the polarization performances of the 256-antennas irregular array that constitutes the unit station of the Low Frequency Aperture Array design of SKA (Square Kilometre Array). Polarization degradation due to possible misalignment error, soil flatness and antenna cables positioning are analysed along with the effect of ground plane sizing.
