Abstract :
This paper studies the effect of vegetal conditions on Desulfovibrio desulfuricans and Desulfotomaculum sp. and compares their growth under the same conditions. desulfovibrio desulfuricans is selected as eligible strain. As the test results shows, the optimum growth range of the Desulfovibrio desulfuricans includes pH which is between 5 and 8, temperature which is above 20°C, inoculating amount above 20%. Desulfovibrio desulfuricans also can grow when pH is 4 and the removal efficiency of SO42- became higher as the increasment of inoculating amount. The effect of original concentration of SO42- on absolute treatment quantity is not significant, but removal efficiency of SO42- became lower as the increase of the original concentration. Bioreduction ability is decreasing with temperature declining.
