  • Abstract
    In order to improve the safety of the Interchange, the paper gets main factors affecting the safety of Interchange through the systemic analysis of overpass ramp, speed lane, landscape subsidiary facilities and overpass structures and other design elements, which is based on the theories of System Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Bridge Engineering and others and on the indicators of consistent speed and Physiological responses of the driver´s heart and the accident rate. Therefore, the paper proposes a new research idea to improve the traffic capacity of the overpass, alleviate the traffic pressure effectively and improve the safety of the overpass.
