Abstract
Many kinds of so called random signals, such as the sea clutter in radar and the reverberation in sonar, are chaos signals. In this paper we present a modified detector in chaos. The main idea is to predict the signal of test cell by forward and backward prediction instead of only forward or backward ones. The detector can reduce the error of prediction, and prompt the detection performance. An illustration is given in the paper and the detection performance is evaluated by a close form
