Abstract :
In recent years, Virtual Reality is a product of the rapid development of information technology, plant morphology simulation study is an important part of it, through the flowers mathematical modeling and OpenGL technology, a variety dynamic blossom process of flowers are achieved, with it, you can create a virtual landscape, but also be able to decorate a virtual space under the Internet environment, so that people can enjoy the flowers anytime and anywhere, which can promote flower exhibitions. This paper focuses on the botanical characteristics of flower blossom process, firstly builds some flower models based on Bezier curves and surfaces theory, then achieves a vivid effect for several flower types using OpenGL programming, in the end displays a number of completed stimulating processes in the form of images.
