Abstract :
The paper presents the main aspects of design and realization of a chain for electrophysiological signal recording, respectively collection, processing and acquisition. The dynamic range compressor circuit or the automatic gain control contains a recovery delay to minimize the distortions, thermal behaviour compensation and an adaptation stage for levelmeter. After compressor was added a clipper, which must catch all the transitions, that escapes out of the dynamic range compressor and a lowpass filter that cuts abruptly the high frequencies. The data vector acquisition is performing by strong internal resources microcontroller including ten bits A/D conversion port. The signal processing was designed in order to be implemented in a custom design IC.
