Abstract :
The paper firstly study dispersion characteristics of the miniaturization SIW, and then study the problem of transition between this structure and micro-strip. This paper mostly researched the directly transit form, then designed a Ku-band planar transition between micro-strip and the miniaturization SIW. The results of simulation show that the insertion loss excelled than 0.5 dB in the designed frequency band, so it has the applied worthiness.
