Abstract :
In the process of rapid urbanization, due to the backward ideas and unscientific planning, historical and cultural heritage is being destroyed to varying degrees, with urban features being disappearing and many misconceptions on ecological construction, and the key is to find out relationships among the three of renewal, conservation and ecology. This paper firstly discusses the relationship between protection and renewal, renewal and ecology, conservation and ecology, and put forward the corresponding methods, measures and recommendations, then take the Qin Huai River and Ming dynasty city wall Protection Projects as an example, coming to the conclusion that urban renewal,historical and cultural heritage conversation, ecological construction can be win-win, which provides a thought for solving the contradiction between the three.
