Abstract :
This paper presents a simplified two-dimensional plane-wave time-domain (PWTD) algorithm based on the existing PWTD algorithm. The scheme simplifies the translation procedure of evaluating the far fields, and then the computational cost is decreased efficiently. The derivation and examples are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and facility that the simplified algorithm achieved.
