Abstract :
A new microwave hyperthermia antenna that isn´t sensitive to neither its parameters nor fluctuation of the inputting frequency is presented in this paper. The finite element method was used to simulate the distributions of the electromagnetic fields and the specific absorption rate (SAR) of the Archimedes planar spiral antenna in phantom muscle tissues. The factors that affect the antenna performance including spiral wire´s diameter, space of adjacent spiral circle and circle numbers are compared.
