  • Abstract
Using “3S” technology in the survey of Yangbi County´s Geological Hazards, three-dimensional remote sensing terrain established, breaking the limit for traditional methods of geological disasters in the survey, play to their realistic, image, macro, real features, and achieved good results. Research found: the use of remote sensing technology combined with fieldworks, can extract the main factors of geological hazards and make examples of model, is a fast and intuitive way; by remote sensing data, the features of each band and the related statistical analysis, selected ETM+741 as the best interpretational band combination for geological disasters; wavelet-based fusion algorithm to generate the image not only has retained a good spectral resolution, but also to improve the spatial resolution of a times. Finally, the summarized temporal and spatial characteristics of Yangbi County´s geological disasters, and its prone areas of geological disaster, provided a reference for other parts of the investigation.
