Research on the pedagogies of computer science

This paper presents several pedagogical theories and analyses how they can be applied to computer science education for undergraduates. Pedagogical patterns are introduced. Some practical issues are also taken into considerations. This paper lays emphasis on teaching strategies. The research is aimed at increasing student´s interest in studying computer science, and becoming computer literate and computer competent.
