Abstract :
A new Bridge-Equilateral Hyperbolic Function Bridge (EHYP) is introduced. The bridge design is based on the theory of the Compound Ratio Network (CRN) and has a balance equation of Z/sub x//spl middot/Z/sub s/=Z/sup 2/=constant, where Z/sub x/ and Z/sub s/ are unknown and standard impedance respectively, and Z is the constant impedance in the CRN. The accuracy of the resistive EHYP bridge is estimated to be 5 ppm when the substituted method is used.
