Abstract :
Protecting mobile agents on visited hosts is a very active research area. In fact, mobile agent technology is considered as the future basic platform for an electronic services framework (Hohl, 1997). Especially in electronic commerce area, mobile agent technology requires strong security mechanisms. Approaches presented as yet can be classified into hardware based solutions and software based solutions. In our solution we suggest the patching of mobile agent platforms by security enhancements in order to produce a trusted software processing environment that is itself protected by smart card
