Abstract :
E3 (Environment for Experimenting and Evolving software processes) provides a process modeling language (PML) and a support tool. The PML is an object-oriented language extended with associations that has been designed for process elicitation, specification, and reuse of high level process fragments. The tool enables its users to create, modify, reuse and store process models. It offers a graphical user interface and it is supported by an object-oriented database for fragment storage and consistency management. A general description of the E3 project can be found in http://www.polito.it/-e3maint. This position paper is about software process model reuse. Reuse requirements and reuse oriented E3 features are introduced
