Abstract
Unified definition of powers for various circuit conditions has been proposed for single-phase systems and three-phase systems. Conventional reactive power was further classified into an interactive power and an alternating power. Several power quality factors such as displacement factor (DISF), active power distortion factor (APDF), active power transfer factor (APTF), interactive power transfer factor (IPTF), alternating power transfer factor (ZPTF), and reactive power transfer factor (RPTF) are defined to evaluate the power quality at a point of common coupling (PCC) in three-phase systems. Simulation results clearly evaluate the various circuit conditions by the proposed power quality factors
