Securing the banking ecosystem: A quantum leap? Italian open panel

This paper discussed about a non-profit initiative to deal with technical aspects of the banking ecosystem security. Credit cards, ATM, PoS, Internet banking and other new technologies based on NFC and cell phones define a very extensive and ever-changing area. International rules have been defined to manage properly credit cards (PCI-DSS) and several observers monitor new threats and share information about security incidents. Today cyber criminals often get to make the first move and only when a new threat has appeared countermeasures are sought. The panel will propose a new vision of studying pre-emptively new technologies and estimating risks by methodologies that can second-guess organized crime.
