Abstract
AC-DC bifilar resistors (6.45 k/spl Omega/, 12.9 k/spl Omega/, and 10 k/spl Omega/), consisting of a microwire and fused silica block, have been investigated and fabricated in order to extend nominal resistance, to improve stability and to reduce mechanical sensitivity. The resistors can be used as transportable standards for direct comparison with quantized Hall resistors (QHR) at DC and AC.
