Abstract
This paper defines the agents´ basic functionalities regarding negotiation, especially exchanging negotiation offers on the basis of agents´ ontologies. This paper also outlines a novel approach in choosing and implementing negotiation protocols without hard coding them within the agent. This paper also discusses an e-commerce application, which implements the suggested underlying theoretical model
