Abstract
We introduce component-oriented programming as a new level of object-oriented programming over GRID and present a component framework for the DG-ADAJ (Desktop top GRID - Adaptive Distributed Application in Java). DG-ADAJ is a middleware platform which gives an execution and programming environment intended for distributed application over a Desktop Grid. It is designed and implemented above the Java/RMI platforms according to a multi-layer structure. It makes it possible to express Java object distribution over the Desktop Grid which is relatively transparent for the programmers and it provides several mechanisms for object migration and for optimized static and dynamic object placement. The component framework based on the Java object-oriented programming CCADAJ is developed as a CCA-compliant framework over the DG-ADAJ with a not expensive additional cost.
