Abstract :
This study explored the integration of spectral and spatio-temporal information, and investigated the contribution to landscape mapping of spatio-temporal information including DEM, slope, aspect, NDVI, ratio vegetation index, FVC by an example of Nikko montane area. The results demonstrated that spatio-temporal information could effectively improve the performance of montane landscape mapping. Finally, the quality landscape mapping of Nikko montane area in 2006 was achieved by an integration of spectral and spatio-temporal information with an overall accuracy of 83.42%.
