Abstract :
In order to obtain the dynamic traffic information of the whole traffic network, the key depends on the type of detectors, the number of it, the location of it, and so on. So far, it is impossible to install the monitor facilities of the dynamic traffic information at the whole intersection and sections, nomatter it´s developing or developed conner, according to the optimized layout of traffic detectors, it is used to predict traffic condition at these intersection without detectors. Based on the relationships between the traffic volumes of intersections, this paper applies system analysis and Mai-component analysis (MA) to the study of the space optimize of road intersection detectors, and the practical data of Shenzhen urban traffic network provide a satisfying result for the study. The results of study can solve the problem in optimizing road intersection detectors space effectively, make it possible for the urban traffic guidance system with paucity detectors, and provide a macroscopic management theoretical foundations of city transportation.
