Abstract :
In ITS networks, users in vehicles expect that they are able to receive useful information at anytime, anywhere. It is supposed that the data traffics in ITS networks will increase in proportion to the number of vehicles accessing to the Internet or intranet through several wireless networks. Under the circumstances, followings are important issues in ITS networks.-How to provide seamless data communication to users in vehicle without user´s explicit selection of a suitable wireless network D -How to achieve efficient and reliable data transfer to moving vehicles D. In this paper, we show an assumed ITS network model and describe our research activities to the requirements. Furthermore, we show issues of the connectivity between ITS networks and other networks, mainly the Internet
