Abstract
Vibration-based bridge structural health monitoring usually needs to extract the modal parameters from vibration measurements before damage identification and condition assessment. Stochastic subspace identification and stabilization diagram methods are novel methods developed recent years. An example of a simple bridge has proved that strain modal parameter identification based on stochastic subspace and stabilization diagram methods is very effective.
