Abstract
A 100 kHz bandwidth AC current generator used to monitor displacements by means of capacitive sensors is described. The displacement signal, linearly related to the capacitive sensor admittance, is monitored in 1 kHz bandwidth with an accuracy of 4*10/sup -4/ by means of a wideband high impedance buffer circuit. Performance and applications are discussed.
