Abstract :
We consider a coded N-ary pulse position modulated ultra-wide bandwidth (UWB) impulse radio which exploits the chaotic time hopping and the polarity randomization. We show that the proposed system has noise-like spectrum, that is line spectrum free, and discuss its multi-user system. Then, we confirm the bit error rate performance by simulation based on the UWB indoor channel model.
