Abstract :
This paper defines an end-to-end billing process model. The processes in this model are mapped to the Telecommunication Management Network (TMN) model. Two interfaces in this process model have been defined, Usage Accounting Interface (UAI) and Usage Metering Interface (UMI). Usage Accounting Interface is for between Service Providers (SP) and Network Providers (NP). It is designed in the protocol-independent manner. TINA-C´s tools such as Object Definition Language (ODL) are used in the interface specification usage metering interface is for between Network Providers (NP) and Equipment Providers (EP). And it is designed for the B-ICI (Broadband ISDN Inter-Carrier Interface) environment where multiple carriers using ATM as underlying technology provide broadband services
